Devon-based Blackhill Engineering (part of the SC Group) has recently achieved certification to the ISO 45001 occupational health-and-safety standard for its facility just outside Exeter, which has a 50-tonne lifting capability.

ISO 45001 is significant for the contracts that Blackhill is winning from major companies in the nuclear and construction industries.

“The certification of our systems has formalised the hard work and diligence of all our people and helps continue the culture of safety and responsibility that we aim for.”
