GWR Fasteners doubles capacity with move Shropshire-based GWR Fasteners Ltd, a supplier of standard fasteners and a manufacturer of both special fasteners and precision components, has moved into a brand new 10,000ft2 facility on the Artillery Business Park in Oswestry, doubling its capacity to meet increasing demand for its products world-wide.

The family-run company remains focused on selling standard fasteners and threaded bar/bar materials through its on-line selling channels, but the new premises will allow customers to visit to discuss their automotive and engineering fastener needs.

GWR (www.gwr-fasteners.co.uk) supplies metric, metric fine and imperial threads, and the move to the new premises will allow the company to not only increase its stock-holding and product ranges but also its manufacturing capacity and capability withnew CNC machines.

Managing director Jude Robinson said: “This is a massive step in our continued growth.

“This year, we celebrate 10 years in business, and we have always dreamed of being in premises that reflect how we have always felt inside — professional, precise and dedicated.

“We haven’t been in the premises long, but we have already had customers visit us and they have all been very impressed with how we have organised ourselves, and the overall aesthetics of the building — both internally and externally.”
