Schaeffler changes its spare parts portfolioSchaeffler’s Automotive Aftermarket division has re-organised its portfolio for chassis repair.

With effect from 1 June, the range of products under the FAG brand will be expanded to include steering and suspension parts, drive shafts and strut mountings.

Along with its existing wheel bearing programme, the company will now offer a market-leading range for professional chassis repair under its FAG brand.

This development is a consequence of Schaeffler’s wide-ranging quality strategy, which is reflected in its products for the spare parts market when it comes to material selection, development and assembly, as well as for tailor-made repair solutions.

Robert Felger, Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket president (product management and R&D), said: “By using durable and performance-enhancing coating and sealing technologies, we offer consistently high-quality products.

“Each individual component — down to the smallest accessory part — is developed and tested according to the quality standards of Schaeffler.”

Under its FAG brand, the company has more than 130 years’ experience of developing and producing components and advanced chassis modules for OEMs.

The company is developing future-oriented chassis technologies as well, with innovative products like the electric roll stabiliser and the Intelligent Corner Module.

The Schaeffler (www.schaeffler.com) quality concept enables garages to conduct efficient and dependable repair, and with a special focus on all common chassis applications in Europe, Schaeffler has enhanced its range of accessories and components in response to the demands of garages.

The FAG repair solutions contain all the necessary components and accessories, including nuts and bolts — and all of the same quality as the part being replaced.
