The UK’s largest annual gathering of engineering professionals will take place on 30-31 October at the Birmingham NEC.
With an expected two-day attendance of around 15,000 people, the eleventh edition of
Advanced Engineering will give companies an opportunity to meet OEMs and supply-chain partners from sectors spanning the engineering industry.
The exhibition incorporates all aspects of engineering (including design, test and measurement, inspection, materials and production) and all sectors (including aerospace, automotive, marine, medical and many more).
The latest innovations and developments from the UK’s advanced-engineering industry will be highlighted.
Once a single show with 80 exhibitors,
Advanced Engineering now features multiple co-locating zones covering the industry’s most advanced and noteworthy sectors, including aerospace, automotive, connected, composites and performance metals.
This year, a new
Medical Device Engineering Zone will host manufacturers looking to showcase their innovations in this booming area of engineering, while the
Medical Device Engineering Open Forum will look at how medical technology is going to develop further. With seven shows under one roof, visitors will be able to access all their business solutions in one place.
Jeremy Whittingham, head of marketing, said: “In times of uncertainty — whether that’s in the market-place, innovation or the choice of technologies available — industry leaders suggest that those who strive to invest will overcome doubt and make profit.
“That’s why we believe in supporting and demonstrating the UK’s flourishing engineering markets here at Advanced
Engineering.
“Last year, the show enjoyed a 10% rise in OEM and Tier One manufacturer attendance compared to the previous year, leading exhibitors to book at a record rate for 2019’s show.
“With companies keener than ever to exhibit at the show, Advanced Engineering is one of the must-visit events of the year.”
