Northamptonshire-based Silverstone Technology Cluster (STC) and its members will have an increased presence at Advanced Engineering.
Supported by founding member Silverstone Park, the STCwill again host the event’s popular VIP Lounge.
It will have a new Innovation Zone (adjacent to the VIP Lounge), where seven member businesses — Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, Symetri, Sandwell, Thermal Issues Ltd, Voxeljet, Silverstone Composites and the University of Birmingham — will showcase their latest technologies (

It is also expected that some members will make presentations as part of the show’s timetable of specialist group forums.
STC CEO Pim van Baarsen said: “We are very happy to be putting our name to the VIP Lounge for a third consecutive year — this is the place at the show for professionals to network with our members and hear how they are benefitting from what the STC is achieving across a wide variety of technology sectors, as well as with industry at large — including neighbouring clusters and Government.
“Our increased presence also gives members added value, as they demonstrate their abilities to a captive audience and senior-level management of like-minded businesses.
“The feedback has been positive; members again see us responding to their requirements, and some others have already committed to doing something similar with us at the show in 2020.“
