West Midlands-based Advanced Chemical Etching Ltd (www.ace-uk.net) has completed a £600,000 investment programme at its manufacturing facility in Telford, enhancing its chemical etching process, reducing lead times and increasing capacity by 100%.

The company has invested in new technology, inspection equipment and automation so that it can continue to offer high-quality chemically etched products but with shorter lead times.

ACE serves customers in the automotive, aerospace, electronics, precision engineering, medical and renewable-energy sectors.

It can now photo-etch 2,000 sheets per day in a range of metals, including stainless steel, aluminium, aluminium bronzes, copper alloys and titanium.
