Nottinghamshire-based A1 Flue Systems has made a number of new appointments to add to its 135-strong workforce, as it gears up for growth in 2020.
The company (

At any one time, A1 can have up to 20 teams at sites around the UK, fitting systems manufactured by the company.
Managing director John Hamnett said: “We’ve been on a big recruitment drive at the back end of last year and the start of this one to fill vacancies right across our business, as we continue to be successful securing contracts for flue and chimney systems.
"We are also looking beyond what we need as a business in the next few months, because we believe that the UK leaving the European Union will present plenty of opportunities for us as a British manufacturer of bespoke systems — especially as a lot of our competitors use components brought in from Europe.
“Sticking to our principles of being a British manufacturer of high-quality flue and chimney systems has enabled us to develop a strong market share in the sector of the heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) industry.
“We are confident that we will continue to grow our market share, because the level of our expertise is unparalleled in the UK.”
