FOBA Laser Marking + Engraving, a leading supplier of industrial laser part-marking and engraving solutions, has introduced another laser marker for ‘line integration’.

The new FOBA Y.0200- S model — available in the UK from Bromsgrove-based TLM Laser Ltd (www.tlm-laser.com) — is an upgrade to the existing range of fibre laser marking systems.

This marker features a compact design that gives manufacturers a ‘high amount of marking and mounting versatility’.

Moreover, it has been designed to accommodate demanding production schedules, as found in the electronics and automotive sectors, as well as companies processing metals and plastics.

The unit features a 20W fibre laser, and users can select either a 6mm marking head for high-speed production or a 10mm marking head for parts that require marking with fine detail.

Up to 1,300 characters per sec can be achieved with the 6mm head, or up to 1,000 characters per sec with the 10mm head (depending on the application).

The new laser provides seamless integration into various production lines.

The marking process can be controlled via FOBA’s Touch Control Software (FOBA Go) on the IP65-rated 10.1in colour touch-screen, or via most browser-based devices.
