Kent-based Convert Ltd, a manufacturer of cable looms and harnesses, has doubled its assembly area from 5,500 to 11,000ft² after investing in additional premises.

Managing director Dave Lord (www.convertltd.co.uk) said: “It is great to mark the start of a new decade by officially moving into our expanded assembly area; we had grown considerably over the past couple of years and needed additional space.

Luckilya unit became available next to our existing factory, and we have spent the past several months converting it to suit our requirements.”

The company has 43 staff; it designs and develops a wide variety of cable looms and harnesses, often from the early project stage, servicing both low- and high-volume requirements.
