Sheffield-based Seven Hills Fabrication Ltd — a member of the Steetley Corner Group — has completed an investment programme worth over £1.3 million.
The company, which recently achieved 31% year-on-year growth and a turnover of £3.5 million, supplies high-technology solutions to the aerospace, defence, hygiene, medical, oil and gas and agricultural sectors.
Its programme, supported by the Sheffield City Region Business Investment Fund, was completed by the installation of a £200,000 press brake and a £150,000 robot welder (

Managing director James Harding-Terry said: “Over the past three years, we have installed a £550,000 Bystronic fibre laser cutting machine, a £60,000 electric tube-bending machine and a new £250,000 computer system for full mapping of production, accounting, purchasing and distribution.
"The new machines complete an investment programme that sets this company apart from traditional fabrication businesses, as we take on increasingly complex and challenging projects.
“The company’s transition to Industry 4.0 is essential for future-proofing the business.
Operating in conjunction with new machines such as the tube bender, press brake and our robot welder, the new computer system will help to up-skill our workforce, so that they are able to adapt.
"Our plan is to continue expanding our operations after a decade of growth; having the technology, equipment and skills to run a manufacturing operation that continually adapts and improves is the future for this company.”
