Due to the Coronavirus, the organising committee of the
BIEMH International Machine Tool Exhibition — comprising the Bilbao Exhibition Centre, AFM-Advanced Manufacturing Technologies and AIMHE-Machine Tool Importers Association of Spain, in co-ordination with Basque institutions — has decided to postpone the event until 23-27 November.
This also applies to ADDIT3D, BeDigital, IMIC and Workinn, which were due to be held in parallel with
BIEMH.
The organiser said in a statement: “By taking this difficult decision, Bilbao Exhibition Centre has adopted the principle of responsibility required by the current situation, in which the containment of the disease is a priority objective and the conditions required to hold an event of this nature with the required safety are not in place (

“As a result, the priority of the team organising
BIEMH is to offer the machine tool and advanced manufacturing sector an appealing event from a commercial and economic perspective, but an event that is also safe from a health point of view.
“For this reason,
BIEMH will intensify its efforts to fulfill the commitment made to its customers with a successful 31st edition in November, where companies can showcase and learn about the most advanced technology and services and do business.”
