Barnshaws Section Benders has announced its recent Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register (JOSCAR) certification, which lists the company as an accredited supplier of metal fabrications to the defence sector. JOSCAR provides contractors in the defence sector with the assurance that an accredited supplier can deliver solutions to the highest quality standard.

It has built a reputation in precision curving metal for the construction, transport, marine, civil and infrastructure sectors. Operating numerous facilities in the UK and Europe, Barnshaws is now offering the defence sector direct access to an unrivalled variety of specialist bending machines operated by its expert workforce.

Projects previously supported by the company include the Wimbledon Centre Court roof, the Francis Crick Institute, Kew Gardens Palm House, Gateshead Millennium Bridge, the raising of the Mary Rose and the ArcelorMittal Orbit in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
