Babcock International Group, the aerospace and defence company, has welcomed over 590 graduates and apprentices to its global business as part of the 2020 intake. The 259 graduates and 338 apprentices will be on sites all over the world working on a variety of projects.
Babcock CEO, David Lockwood said: “I am delighted to welcome our latest intake of graduates and apprentices to Babcock. These people are the future of the business and I look forward to hearing about the exciting projects they are involved with.”
Alyssa Davies, sail maker Apprentice at Babcock's Devonport facility, said: “As an older apprentice this is a complete retrain for me, coming from my previous career in the NHS.
“I want to start my new career specifically with Babcock because it has a good reputation, along with an incredible training package and brilliant career prospects. I just cannot wait for my first day in the workshop learning my new trade.”
