AGM signs up distribution partner in TurkeyApplied Graphene Materials (AGM), the Cleveland-based producer of specialty graphene additives, has signed a distribution agreement with Gobarr Kimya Ticaret ve Pazarlama Ltd that will further expand AGM’s distribution network to target customers in the Turkish coatings and polymers sector.

Gobarr’s team of industry specialists has over 25 years’ experience in supplying innovative products to the paint and coatings market across Turkey, and this agreement will make the company the market’s leading supplier of ‘graphene dispersions’ focused on Turkey’s industrial coatings sector.

Adrian Potts, AGM’s CEO, said: “It’s a great pleasure to be able to welcome Gobarr to our growing sales network. The development of a distribution network for our Genable graphene dispersion products and technology is a key strategic focus at this stage of AGM’s commercialisation.

“We look forward to achieving success with the Gobarr team in the distribution of AGM’s dispersed graphene materials in the Turkish coatings and liquid resin sector.”

Founded by Professor Karl Coleman, AGM has grown from an academic idea from Durham University to a world leader in the development and application of graphene ‘nanoplatelet dispersions’ for customers in the coatings, composites and ‘functional materials’ sectors.

AGM was admitted to AIM (a sub-market of the London Stock Exchange) in November 2013, raising £11 million. The Group successfully raised £8.5 million in January 2016 and a further £9.8 million in November 2017. Since August 2020, the Group’s shares are also listed on OTCQX in the USA.
