G&P appoints new UK general managerCharles Bamford has been appointed as UK general manager for the leading quality management provider G&P, as it enters the next phase of ‘ambitious growth plans’.

Mr Bamford has more than 20 years’ senior level experience in the automotive industry, where he worked with some of the largest OEMs, together with Tier One and Tier Two suppliers, throughout the UK, Europe and North America.

Mr Bamford said: “With significant OEM and supplier experience at a senior level, I understand the challenges associated with G&P customers’ processes and problems.

“Building upon G&P’s excellent and well-established services, this alternative perspective means that we will be able to add even greater value and benefit to our clients.”

One of the key factors to G&P’s ongoing and future success is its Qtrak technology. Developed in-house, it is designed to integrate seamlessly into its customers’ quality management systems and associated supply chains world-wide, and thereby help G&P and its clients across a wide range of industries to improve quality and efficiency levels.

G&P was established in 1994 and has grown to have a global presence, now operating in more than 100 manufacturing facilities around the world.

To date, G&P has completed more than 110,000 quality management projects for its manufacturing customers, and in one year alone, its work helped customers reduce their levels of waste by more than £2.5 billion.
