Sigma Labs Inc, which is based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and is a leading developer of quality assurance software for the commercial metal 3-D printing industry, has been selected by DMG Mori as the preferred melt pool monitoring system for its LaserTec SLM machines.

Engineering teams from both companies worked extensively to test the integrated solution to ensure that it meets the ‘demanding’ needs of industrial manufacturers using DMG Mori’s family of metal 3-D printers. DMG Mori will be providing an interface with its printers, thereby ensuring that the systems are ready for Sigma Labs’ PrintRite3D software.
