As the UK gradually returns to post-pandemic levels, Hove-based
Dugard has appointed David Rawson to support the sales growth the company is enjoying across all the brands in its portfolio. Joining the company this month, he has been apointed as area sales manager for the north of the country.
With almost 30 years’ of experience in the manufacturing industry, Mr Rawson started his engineering career as a machine shop apprentice at a sub-contract company. Spells at prominent sub-contract machine shops followed including at Arnold Wragg and Universal Drilling where he spent 13 years as a machine shop supervisor and programmer.
He has spent the last 10 years working for some of the UK’s most prominent machine tool and ancillary equipment manufacturers where he has cut his teeth in technical sales and account management.
During this period, Mr Rawson has also cultivated strong relationships with manufacturers in all industry sectors from all corners of his sales area in the north.
