TIMTOS 2023 to welcome international visitors back in personThe Taipei International Machine Tool Show, also known as TIMTOS 2023, is set to be the largest ever after Taiwan recently lifted all its border controls following the Covid-19 outbreak. The major industry show will take place from 6-11 March at Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1 and 2 and TWTC Hall 1, and feature over 1,000 exhibitors in nearly 6,100 booths.

Foreign professionals are once again free to travel to Taiwan to participate in trade shows, and the global machine tool industry is gearing up for TIMTOS 2023. Delegations are coming from a number of countries including Vietnam, Turkey, and India, according to TAITRA, the organiser.

In a press conference for TIMTOS 2023 held earlier today, the show organisers, Simon Wang, president and CEO of TAITRA (pictured below) and Larry Wei, chairman of TAMI, unveiled the highlights of the coming TIMTOS 2023.

TaiwanMr Wang pointed out that the slogan for TIMTOS 2023 “Keep Rolling in Metalworking‘ highlighted the show’s focus on linking up the global machine tool ecosystem to make metal processing smarter, more efficient, and more sustainable. He added that t is not an understatement to say that the growing metalworking industry worldwide is one of major forces driving sustained global growth.

TAMI chairman Mr Wei is also confident of the success of TIMTOS 2023. Taiwan’s machine tool industry has become more resilient since the pandemic, as it has relentlessly worked on intelligent transformation and adding value to products.

TIMTOS, a major industry show that brings together leading Taiwan companies in the machine tool sector, is seen as a must-attend event for those who are looking for reliable and innovative products or services developed by Taiwan manufacturers.

Among the big brands showcasing their latest models and smart solutions, are Chin Fong, Earth-Chain, FFG, TTGroup, Hiwin, PMI, YLM, Shinbu, Kafo, Chmer, Hartford, SOCO, YOU JI, Takisawa, YCM, Kao Ming, Victor Taichung, Delta, Siemens, Heidenhain, Trumpf, Fanuc, igus, Mazak, Mitsubishi, THK, Zeiss, Universal Robot, Mitutoyo, Keyence, and Renishaw.
