Students roll up their sleeves

Cheshire-based Projen plc, the engineering project management company, has formed a partnership with the Specialist Engineering College at Great Sankey Engineering High School. It initiated the relationship in order to help pupils with their future careers in engineering — by giving them the opportunity to get directly involved in its business,.

Projen has spent the summer providing work experience for pupils, attending career days at the college and helping with the college’s diploma course for engineering. Sue Harrison, engineering director at Great Sankey, says: “We are already proud of the relationship we have built with Projen. The college is always looking to build working relationships with local companies, and we are delighted with the help that Projen has provided to pupils at the college.”
