Hornby relaunches Thomas the Tank Engine

Hornby, the Kent-based models and collectibles group, is to relaunch its Thomas the Tank Engine model railway sets.
Chief executive Richard Ames said that the range has proved to be popular in the past with a younger generation of model railway enthusiasts.
The company has also announced that it has appointed Steve Cooke as finance director (from 10 June).
He joins from LSL Property Services; before that, he was finance director at the Best Invest group. Mr Ames said: “The board is delighted that Steve has agreed to join Hornby. He brings with him extensive plc experience at a strategic level, as well as excellent experience of retail and logistics operations.”
