TaeguTec (www.taegutec.com) has extended its MillRush range with the addition of extended-flute cutters (also known as porcupine or long-edge cutters) and splitter inserts, to improve cutting performance on roughing operations.

These cutters can be specified with the company’s 3PKT 6, 10, 15 and 19mm inserts. Moreover, the 3PKT 15 and 19mm inserts can be clamped to both extended-flute end mills and shell mill cutters.

Splitter inserts provide excellent performance under unstable machining conditions such as long overhangs and weak fixtures.
