Shropshire-based GWR Fasteners (www.gwr-fasteners.co.uk) has taken delivery of its third new CNC machine in 16 months in order to meet the growing demand for its products.

With significant financial support from Close Brothers Asset Finance, the company has grown from a small-scale operation to a global distribution hub, serving customers in a number of sectors.

Managing director Gary Robinson says: “The demand for our services has been greater than we could ever have imagined. By the time we took delivery of the first CNC machine, we were already thinking about purchasing a second, as we knew we needed to be able to respond to the needs of our customers. We now have a third machine, so we can offer a wider range of products and a much quicker turn-round time.

“The help we received from Close Brothers Asset Finance has been instrumental in the expansion of our manufacturing facilities. Their specialist team understood our business and our needs — and recognised that we were eligible for RGF funding. They guided us through all of the processes, and with their support, we were able to significantly improve our offering.”
