Aston Martin (www.astonmartin.com) recently opened its new warehouse and logistics facility in Wellesbourne — near its existing headquarters at Gaydon — following a multi-million-pound investment. As a result, the sports-car manufacturer has created 40 new jobs.

Manufacturing operations director Keith Stanton said: “The opening of this superb new facility is a vital part of our Second Century Plan.

Ensuring that we have the right materials in the right place at the right time is — of course — fundamental to our manufacturing process.

“As the volume and the complexity of our operations increase in the months and years ahead, we will be relying on the team at Wellesbourne to help us deliver our exciting new generation of Aston Martins.”
