Devon-based manufacturer Rotolok (www.rotolok.co.uk) has reported “another strong performance”, helped by the opening of a new factory in India.

The company specialises in the design and manufacture of powder-handling systems and equipment. Its turnover grew by 10% to £26 million in the year to 31 May 2016, while its pre-tax profits remained at about £1.8 million. Staff numbers increased from 325 to 347.

Group managing director Sean Swales said: “We are very satisfied with another strong overall performance in 2016. Our underlying earnings remain robust, with consistent profit contributors from core business segments within our diverse group.

“Our bulk and powder-handling equipment continues to be in high demand, even though global industrial production has been at zero growth rates over the past year.”
