Up to 30 jobs could be created at a Derbyshire logistics firm after it announced a move into a 20,000ft2 warehouse in Riddings.

Silver X Logistics (www.xlogistics.co) has quadrupled its capacity due to the relocation and will create office and warehouse jobs, according to managing director Gavin Burgess, who has a successful track record in building up logistics firms.

In 2006, he started Burgess Logistics (UK) which he grew to a £3 million business before merging it with another company. He withdrew from that venture is 2013 after taking it to around the £10 million turnover mark, employing 150 staff.
