Capital Match (www.capital-match.com), a new service from Catalyst Inc to assist ambitious Northern Ireland companies with funding, was launched at the Belfast Waterfront last month.

Capital Match director Alan Watts said: “Capital Match, which provides fund-matching for high-growth-potential knowledge-economy companies, operates by building extensive personal relationships with multiple sources of funding, largely outside Northern Ireland.

"The difference between Capital Match and, say, an angel network is in the focus of the introductions. Relatively few meetings are set up, but those that are with funders who will be interested in the particular company. This saves huge amounts of time for the companies — and also for the funders.”
