Swansea-based Seminar Components (
www.www.seminar-components.co.uk), a manufacturer of armchair lift-and-recline mechanisms, is set to boost its production and increase its exports to Europe — supported by a £200,000 hire purchase and leasing facility from Lloyds Bank.
The company has invested in two new robotic welding machines, which will enable it to increase its production by 25% by the end of the year.
Finance director Philip Lempriere said: “We only started exporting in 2015, and we have been overwhelmed by the response to our products.
“Sales have increased by nearly a third in the past two years alone, driven by an increase in exports, which now account for 16% of all sales.”
