The Munich-based Hoffmann Group (www.hoffmann-group.com) has confirmed it will be at EMO2017 — 18-23 September (Hall 3, Stand D14).

The company will be using the slogan ‘Innovative by nature’ to highlight its latest products for machinists; several are being shown for the first time.

The new micro milling cutters being shown have been designed to produce the highest levels of accuracy when machining small and miniature parts made of alumin- ium and graphite, while the three-flute drill from the Garant MasterSteel product family (for steel machining) is said to offer the world’s largest length-to-diameter ratio and is the latest addition to the company’s range of high-performance drills.

Also on show will be the Garant CM1 — a CNC contour-measuring instrument with a traverse of 190mm.
