Citizen Machinery UK’s annual Open House event, being held 3-5 October (9am to 5pm), will feature 12 Citizen and Miyano machines and include a pre-launch preview of Citizen’s latest-generation Cincom D25 sliding-headstock CNC turn-mill centre; this features 10 axes, a new control, two gang tool-posts, a back tool-post with B axis, and a capacity for 59 tools.

There will also be the UK launch of Citizen’s Low Frequency Vibration (LFV) technology, which is now available on the Cincom L12-VIIILFV.

This model is the next phase of the machine tool builder’s programme to extend LFV across its product range, following the UK launch of the L20 machine in 2016.

Visitors will also be able to discuss finance support for machines ordered during the event.

Another 19 companies will be supporting the Open House event; these cover CAD/ CAM, tooling, quality, materials and machine accessories.

Lunch will be provided each day, and the Open House will be extended to 21.30 on Wednesday 4 October for Citizen’s traditional curry evening.
