Draycott-based FC Laser (
www.fclaser.co.uk), a rapidly expanding precision laser cutting specialist, achieved a monthly turnover of £500,000 in November.
This follows the recent announcements of the company’s sales growing by 30% over 12 months and customer activity increasing by 20% in a single month.
As a result of this increased turnover and activity, the company — founded in 2012 — has moved to a larger (20,000ft
2) and more eco-friendly facility and is looking to recruit nine more members of staff.
FC Laser has the very latest laser cutting technology, having recently extended its suite of Bystronic laser centres by the addition of three 10kW fibre machines with the latest ByTrans material loading and unloading system.
General manager Steve Connolly said: “Achieving a turnover over £500,000 in a single month is phenomenal, but it is no surprise to us, because we have worked tirelessly over the years to satisfy customer demand and generate new business.
“So much of this growth and success is down to the company’s ethos on how it treats its customers and how it supports its employees.”
