Stroud Metal Co has purchased a Chin Fong OCP-110EL power press from Worcester Presses Ltd (www.worcesterpresses.co.uk) — a leading supplier of mechanical presses, hydraulic presses and coil-processing equipment.

Traditionally known for the manufacture of deep-drawn components, Stroud Metal Co has seen strong growth in inquiries for both high-volume deep-drawn metal pressings and its traditional progressive die metal stampings business.

As a result, it made the decision to increase its machine capacity.

Stroud Metal and its sister company Cotswold Plastics (soon to become Stroud Plastics Co) have both seen an increased order book and are proving to be highly successful in a competitive European market.
