Walsall-based Majorfax Ltd (www.majorfax.co.uk), a specialist supplier of ferrous and non-ferrous castings, now offers a wet-spray painting service with a range of surface-finishing solutions.

This takes place in a bespoke facility that comprises a fully enclosed preparation room plus a heated and ventilated painting booth.

The paint is stored in a purpose-built mixing facility to ensure tight control over the finish, and the company can colour-match to meet its customers’ exact requirements.

Along with the opening of this painting facility, Majorfax has created three new jobs, including one position for an apprentice to learn about wet-spray painting and surface finishing.

It has also appointed a new sales manager and a sales and marketing co-ordinator, who will work together to grow the business — particularly in new markets.

They will focus on communicating with both current and potential customers to highlight the full range of Majorfax’s supply-chain capabilities, which can be tailored to work alongside their existing purchasing, quality, production and logistical departments.

The company has also invested in upgrading its network and IT systems.
