Tiverton-based Rotolok (
www.rotolok.com) has seen a “significant uplift in profitability”.
The company, which produces valves for industrial applications, recorded a profit before tax of £4.4 million for the year to the end of May 2017, up from £1.8 million the previous year.
Its world-wide valve and powder-handling equipment divisions performed well and supported the company’s strategy of focusing on its core engineering and manufacturing operations.
Rotolok started life in a Surrey office in 1973; it now has operations in the USA, India, France, South Africa, Singapore and Australia.
