£1 million investment at Advanced

North Tyneside-based Advanced (uk.advancedco.com), a fire systems manufacturer, has made a £1 million investment at its 48,000ft² base.

This covers manufacturing-facility improvements, equipment and a design project that has delivered ‘state of the art’ offices, communications technology and social facilities.

The investment followed a relocation from four separate sites in Cramlington, which the company says was essential to meet increasing UK and international demand for its products.

Managing director Pete Browitt said: “We are proud to manufacture all of our products in the North East, where our new facilities are some of the best I have ever seen.”
