Scunthorpe-based Bradbury Group, a steel door and security solutions specialist (

2 production facility.
Managing director Tim Strawson said: “This investment marks the start of a new journey for Bradbury Group.
We are aiming high, with the aspiration to be the best and most trusted steel door manufacturer in the world.
"We’ve invested in infrastructure, machinery and our people, and we’re very proud to continue the company’s growth in our home town.
“With growth comes more employment opportunities, particularly for Scunthorpe. The decision to move to a new facility was necessary, because we simply outgrew our previous production facility.
"Since 2010, Bradbury Group has achieved a five-fold increase in turnover, and we predict a continued growth of around 20% per year.”
Paul Sweeting, technical director at Bradbury Group, said: “We have not only developed our product range but also invested heavily in automation and the purchasing of new machinery to make our manufacturing process as lean as possible.”
Last year, the business, which employs 200 people, produced 17,000 door-sets for customers throughout the UK.
It now has the capacity to produce around 100 door-sets in an average working day.
