US-based GW Plastics is expanding its advanced manufacturing operations in Ireland and creating over 200 new jobs at its subsidiary Avenue Mould Solutions (AMS) (
www.avenuemouldsolutions.ie), which it acquired in 2017.
The company provides full-service contract manufacturing capabilities with a focus on surgical components, diagnostic devices and drug delivery systems.
GW Plastics intends to invest 5.7 million euros to ‘grow’ its product development, thermoplastic and silicone injection moulding, and contract assembly capabilities in Europe.
As part of this investment, Avenue Mould Solutions will expand its moulding operations into a scalable 23,000ft2 facility in Sligo.
