Tamworth-based cutting-tool manufacturer Industrial Tooling Corporation (ITC –
www.itc-ltd.co.uk) recently made its debut at
EMO — the world’s largest metal-working exhibition — in Hanover.
The company demonstrated to a world-wide audience why it is a leading brand in the UK and was pleased with the large amount of interest generated.
It also used the show as an opportunity to expand its European distributor base, with a large number of reputable agents and distributors keen to have the UK brand as part of their portfolios.
ITC’s latest trochoidal milling innovations have proved very popular in the UK among the high-tech aerospace, motor-sport, mould-and-die and general engineering industries, and they also impressed EMO visitors ranging from OEMs to small sub-contract manufacturers.
Of particular interest was the company’s Cupro-coated 5021 series of five-flute end mills, as well as the new 5031 series of stub-length square-end tools.
From its six-flute trochoidal milling stable, ITC demonstrated the new 6051 series, supported by the 6011-F, 6021-F and 6031-F series.
The diversity of the product portfolio demonstrated at
EMO also impressed visitors, with an all-encompassing suite of milling tools that included square, ball-nose and radius tools with multiple dimensions, geometries and coating choices.
Additionally, the variety of chamfer tools, countersink, thread-milling, drilling and reaming products provided a balanced solution for all industry sectors.
