The three innovative British companies that make up the Unison family — Unison Ltd, the inventor of all-electric tube manipulation; Nukon Lasers UK; and wire bending machinery manufacturer, Pneuform Machines Ltd, will be displaying their respective technologies side-by-side at MACH 2024 for the first time since Pneuform was acquired by Unison in 2023 (Hall 20, Stand 550). The show is taking place 15-19 April at the NEC, Birmingham.

Taking centre stage will be an all-electric Unison Breeze ‘Twinhead’ tube-bending machine, a Unison Synergy hybrid dual-stack tube bender, and a Pneuform 3-D wire-bending machine, as well as a highly powerful Nukon Rex 6kW fibre laser cutting machine.

Pneuform was a pioneer of CNC 3-D wire bending. Today its wire and small diameter tube-bending machines have become the industry standard with many manufacturers of beer coolers, drink dispensers, HVAC equipment, and small diameter automotive parts. Pneuform’s range of wire bending machines includes rotary head models, flat rotary line bending machines and enamelled wire-bending machines. Available in two-axis and three-axis versions, Pneuform machines cater for outside tube diameters ranging from 3-11mm in stainless steel and 3-15mm in copper.

The Nukon Rex fibre laser that will be on display at MACH 2024 combines powerful 2-D flat sheet-metal cutting capability with optional pipe and tube cutting and marking features.
