Supported by local councils and ‘Enterprise Partnerships’ in what is seen as a ‘monumental move’ for the Midlands, the South Site expansion at MIRA Tech Park has been unanimously backed and will deliver a ‘high-quality development incorporating 2.3 million ft² of large-scale manufacturing and industrial facilities that are ‘complementary to the extensive R&D facilities and campus at the existing MIRA Tech Park site’.

This expansion is expected to create 2,500 highly skilled jobs, and progress on site will be supported by major power and road infrastructure investment, ‘creating an environment conducive to growth’ with a range of building sizes from 250,000ft² to suit tenant requirements.

With early applications set to fast-track delivery, the realisation of this ambitious project is well on its way for construction in 2025.”
