LANG Technik UK to launch new innovations at MACH 2024Buckinghamshire-based LANG Technik UK, a leading provider of five-axis workholding and automation systems, will debut three brand new products at MACH 2024, taking place 15-19 April at the NEC, Birmingham (Hall 17, Stand 411).

First up is the Quick•Point Rail, a completely new clamping concept for machine tables and pallet systems and LANG Technik says that it offers enormous cost-saving potential, especially for high volumes in automation systems. In under 2min, the quick clamping system can be mounted and is ready for operation. Quick•Point Rail becomes a movable zero-point clamping system, which solves the requirements of the respective clamping task as needed and is very cost-efficient.

Meanwhile, the Makro•Grip FS is a new stamping unit with contour jaws which enables higher cutting performance and ensures faster milling processes, with more reliability and safety in clamping. New features include increasing the holding force by up to 60%, accelerating the process of setting the stamping pressure, and supporting three stamping units at the same time.

Completing the trio of launches, LANG Technik UK is introducing the Makro•Grip 46 micro. Described as ‘small but mighty’, it is perfectly suited for multiple clamping of small components in confined spaces. Medical or precision engineering companies will especially benefit from adopting the new micro vices.

LANG Technik UK’s show stand would not be complete without the RoboTrex automation system. Combining efficiency, speed and flexibility, it is one of the company’s most popular products.
Almost any machine tool – whether new or already in use – can be automated with RoboTrex. It is a simple to operate as no skilled labour is required, and most importantly – workholding and automation comes from one source.

Danny Brook, LANG Technik UK’s new business development manager, said: “At MACH 2024, we have exciting innovations to show customers in all three areas of our business – zero-point clamping, workholding and automation. We believe that our new Quick•Point Rail system will be particularly well received as it allows customers to have more flexibility during set up, and at a cost-effective price.”
