Floyd tools will be seen working live partner stands at MACH

Floyd tools will be seen working live partner stands at MACHHertfordshire-based Floyd Automatic Tooling is set to demonstrate at MACH 2024 (Hall 20, Stand 489) why it is the industry authority on cutting tools and machining solutions for the sliding head turning and the small part machining industry. The exhibition is taking place 15-19 April at the NEC, Birmingham.

As well as presenting its latest innovations. the tooling specialist will have a number of solutions being put through their paces on the stands of two of its technical partners. The Baldock-based company has always enjoyed longstanding relationships with industry-leading machine tool builders and at MACH 2024 tooling products will be seen in action on the stands of both Star Micronics GB and Citizen Machinery.

On the Star Micronics GB stand (Hall 20, Stand 130), Floyd will have a wide range of products in operation on a Star SL10 sliding head turning centre, including a selection of Applitec turning and threading tools as well as an impressive range of Mikron end mills and drills. Mikron Tool products will be showcased at the show with a prominent sponsorship position on the Floyd stand.

Additionally, Mikron Tool will have technical expert Ivano Bernasconi available for the duration of MACH 2024 to discuss innovations such as the groundbreaking CrazyMill and CrazyDrill series. Also on the Star SL10 machine at MACH 2024 will be the latest Habegger range of thread rolling products, the Madaula driven tool series and the Flo-Tool series of workholding technology that includes everything from dead-length collets and clamping heads to specialist guide bushes and more.

Meanwhile, on the Citizen Machinery UK Stand (Hall 20, Stand 361), the manufacturer will introduce a host of new machines and on its L12 sliding head turning centre, Floyd Automatic will present a different range of tooling products. Alongside the high-end Applitec turning, etching and carbide saw range, Floyd will have the high-precision Mikron Tool CrazyDrill range in operation. To showcase the diversity of the Floyd products for sliding head machines, the Citizen L12 will also have backworking and workholding tools from Flo-Tool in operation along with Zeus precision knurling tools and serration tools from Schwanog.

Both Star and Citizen will have a wide selection of machines on show, and Floyd products will also feature on additional machines at MACH 2024. The partnerships that Floyd Automatic enjoys with the leading cutting tool brands for this niche segment include MASA Microconics, Mikron Tool, Madaula, Schaublin, Ifanger, Schwanog, Applitec, Alesa and many others.
