EDM specialist CNC International, Ross-on-Wye
(www.cncinternational.co.uk), has been appointed sole agent in the UK and Eire for a number of machine tool manufacturers looking to break into the UK market.
As a result, the company now supplies: wire-cut EDM machines from Seibu and Accutex; die-sink EDM machines from Exeron and Neuar (EDM ZNC-30 pictured); high-speed milling machines, also from Exeron; and EDM fast hole-drilling machines from Shiang Yang.
One of the few manufacturers whose machines are still entirely made in Japan, Seibu continues to bring innovative new products and features to market, including the recently released core stitch function which removes the need for tagging the core by welding it in place using the standard brass wire.
Accutex offers EDM machines to suit most budgets and size requirements, with significant cost savings when compared to machines of equal specification from other manufacturers, while Exeron EDM machines are aimed at manufacturers of precision moulds and components.
All Exeron EDM machines feature a near-zero-wear EDM generator that offers high material removal rates and minimal electrode wear, while the company’s high-speed milling machines feature a polymer concrete base and are available in three-axis and five-axis simultaneous configurations.
