Birmingham-based CMA Moldform recently took part in an event at the House of Commons. It was one of nine companies invited to exhibit its products at the Birmingham — We Still Make Things showcase, which was part of Birmingham Day in Parliament.
Arranged by Birmingham MPs Gisela Stuart, Andrew Mitchell and John Hemming, the event attracted a large number of MPs and business leaders and received television coverage on both BBC and ITV.
CMA managing director Peter Turnock said: “We were delighted to be invited to take part in the showcase. The growth and success of Birmingham and the resurgence of its manufacturing industry is something to be very proud of.”
During the exhibition, Ms Stuart and Mr Mitchell were photographed with the helmet made by CMA for the film Prometheus, directed by Ridley Scott.
