Syntech closes

Devon-based electrical manufacturer Syntech SW has closed with the loss of 85 jobs after rescue talks fell through at the last minute.
Trading as STL from 130,000 sq ft leasehold premises in Paignton, the business specialised in making radio-frequency and wireless products; it had clients such as Gooch & Housego, Honeywell Global Tracking and Plasma Antennas.
