With interest aroused by a preview of the XYZ 2op portable VMC at MACH 2014, potential customers now have the opportunity to attend the official launch of the machine at eight special events being hosted by XYZ Machine Tools (www.xyzmachinetools.com) at its Burlescombe and Nuneaton showrooms.

The compact design of the XYZ 2op (it has a footprint of just 1,219 x 762mm and weighs 1,000kg) allows it to be located almost anywhere in the factory. In fact, each machine is supplied with its own pallet truck so it can be moved to where it is needed — essentially for pre-op and second-op work.

The dates for these events are: 18 and 19 August at Burlescombe; and 3 and 4 September at Nuneaton. A 90min presentation will take place twice each day —
at 11am and 1.30pm (lunch will be provided).
