Stephen Crabb named as Welsh Secretary

Stephen Crabb has been named as the new Welsh Secretary, replacing David Jones. Mr Crabb, who is from Pembrokeshire, was previously the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Wales Office.
He was elected as MP for Preseli Pembrokeshire in 2005, becoming an Opposition Whip in 2009 and an Assistant Government Whip in 2011.
Mr Crabb said: “As a Government, we are ambitious for Wales and determined that Wales should be at the forefront of the UK economic recovery.”
