A division of Raytheon Co has won a contract to provide airborne computers that link sensors aboard the US navy’s Boeing F/A-18E/F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler combat aircraft with anti-radar missiles.

Raytheon Missile Systems will supply 158 command launch computers to the US navy, which will subsequently pass 37 of them to the Australian government.

The order will be carried out at a facility in Tucson, Arizona, and should be finished by February 2018.
