Morgan Advanced Materials (
www.morganadvancedmaterials.com) — a global materials technology specialist with its headquarters in Windsor and sites around the UK — has a new chief executive officer.
Pete Raby has joined the company from aerospace and defence component manufacturer Cobham, where he had a number of senior roles.
He takes over from interim CEO Kevin Dangerfield with a brief to continue the development of Morgan’s business across its key sectors, which include health-care, electronics, transportation, energy, security & defence and petrochemicals.
He said: “It is a privilege for me to take on the leadership of this company. Morgan enjoys a strong reputation — underpinned by its distinctive capabilities in materials science and technology — as a business with outstanding products and solutions, dedicated employees and excellent customer relationships.
“Last year, we invested £21.7 million — more than 2% of our revenue — in technology development, and we will continue to invest in our future.”
