Addison Saws marks 60 years at MACHMACH 2016 For Stourbridge-based Addison Saws Ltd (www.addisonsaws.co.uk), MACH will not simply provide an opportunity to present some of its latest CNC sawing and cutting technologies, but also allow the company to mark its 60th anniversary (Hall 4 Stand 4627).

Among the principal exhibits on the stand will be a Mecal MC 307 Falcon four-axis CNC machining centre (for aluminium workpieces) that offers an X-axis traverse speed of 150m/min.

Other standard features include five automatic individually powered vices and A-axis profile rotation from +135 to -135deg.

The saws on show will include an Everising H460 automatic bandsaw, a large-capacity Tronzadoras TL600 semi-automatic rising-blade mitre saw, and a Tronzadoras GAA350 TR12 CNC vertical cut-off saw for processing aluminium; it also features a Y-axis drilling capability.

A newly released Imet twin-pillar semi-automatic bandsaw will also be on display, as will Imet’s Sirio 370 vertical-action cold saw and the X Smart CNC mitre bandsaw — a heavy-duty machine for cutting cast iron, steel and high-strength steels.

Finally, a CSM 50TBRE multi-stack four-axis electric tube bender from sister company Tubefab (www.tubefab.co.uk) will also be on the stand. This machine provides linear/radial accuracy to 0.01mm/deg.
