Tamworth-based Industrial Tooling Corporation Ltd (www.itc-ltd.co.uk) has announced the introduction of the AG90 fixed 90deg angle head from BIG Kaiser.

This is a lightweight unit with a BT30 (BIG-Plus) taper.

Weighing less than 2kg, the AG90 is compatible with the automatic tool-change systems of small machine tools.

Furthermore, the angle head’s compact design minimises overhang; this not only adds rigidity and strength but also eliminates interference with the ATC and adjacent storage pockets in the tool magazine.

A non-contact seal is incorporated into the AG90 to prevent coolant and particle contamination.

Additionally, a novel coolant-jacket design directs cutting fluid coming through the stop block to the edge of the cutting tool, while simultaneously cooling the angle head.
